Southern Cross Championship

- Pro Wrestling Alliance Queensland Championship (2007-2013)
- Australian Wrestling Federation Queensland Championship (2015)
- Chaos Championship Wrestling Queensland hmpionship (2015-2017)
- Ringside Addiction [Queensland] Championship (2017-2019)
- Southern Territory Wrestling Southern Cross Championship (2021-present)

The Southern Cross Championship was formed in October 2007 as the PWA Queensland Championship as apart of Pro Wrestling Alliance Queensland (PWAQ) Events. The first champion was Sorrow who won a mini-tournament for the title. The title was defended in PWAQ as well as interstate companies as Nightmare Wrestling and Showtime Wrestling Alliance as well as PWAQ's sister brand, PWA Underground. The PWAQueensland Championship was always considered a workers title and stepping stone to the next level contenderships. The Queensland Championship has also had an infamous history of legitimately being held hostage by pro wrestlers who are so excited to hold the championship, that they have refused to return it after loosing it. On two occasions this has occurred.

The title represented PWAQueensland until PWAQ evolved into "High Impact Wrestling" where the original "sticker" championship was replaced with a new championship based on the original design. The Queensland Title continued to prosper in High Impact Wrestling, Chaos Championship Wrestling and the Australasian Wrestling Federation continuing its legacy started in PWAQ.

In 2018 after a hiatus, the Queensland Championship was re-branded as the "Ringside Addiction Championship" being re-crowned at Rise of the Warriors 12, being won by Asian Superstar Alex Cuevas who took it on an international tour of Asia and Eastern Europe, defending the title in countries like Singapore, China, Turkey and Malaysia. The championship returned to Australia in 2019 where it was defended in Woolongong as apart of All-Star Wrestling Australia's events around New South Wales. The title was vacated by Jace Chalmers in November 2019 who beat the previous champion and later refused to accept the championship as he saw it as a symbol of the corrupt management of All-Star Wrestling Australia.

In 2021 the title return with a new design and name. Incorporating some original design elements the NEW Southern Cross Championship was recrowned in Southern Territory Wrestling where it remains to be defended today. To date Queensland/Southern Cross Championship has been defended in all mainland states of Australia and in 6 INTERNATIONAL Countries most recently Singapore and the Philippines.

AUSTRALIAN WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP

The Australian Womens Championship was introduced in 2011 into PWAQueensland as the Queensland Womens Championship and served as Queensland's only title for females. The championship replaced the PWWA Championship which had been defended regually in PWAQ. Upon PWAQ's closure, the title became a national championship and was defended around the country primarily in AWF in Sydney and Snakepit in Adelaide. The Womens Championship can boast being the most widely defended championship in Queensland Wrestling having been defended all mainland Australian states since its creation. Whilst it was not defended there, the championship also traveled to Japan in 2012 and is the only non-AWF Championship to be defended at the Supanova Pop Culture Convention. The title returned in 2021 primarally based in Southern Territory Wrestling but has been defended in DMDU as well.

INTERNATIONAL / AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP

AWF-RA International Championship.png

The International Championship, also known as the Australian Championship, has a proud lineage dating back to the birth of modern Queensland Wrestling. The Australian Championship was created as the Pro Wrestling Alliance (PWA) International Championship and was crowned in 2007 at Rise of the Warriors 1 where Mason Childs defeated international guest Chris Hero. The title served as the top title right through PWAQueensland's tenure slightly changing its name to the PWAQ World Championship in 2011. Mystery was the last champion recognized in the PWAQ tenure. Apex Wrestling (via HIW) gained the rights to use the championship in 2014 and NCPW and CCW in 2016 which means the strong legacy of the Australian Championship continued and strengthen. In August of 2018, the rights to the title and lineage were sold to John Carter.
